1Who We Are
Bright Oak HR Consultancy (“Bright Oak”, “we”, “us”) is an international immigration and mobility advisory based at Level 14, Commercial Tower, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. We act as the controller of personal information collected through this website and in the course of our advisory services.
Questions about this policy can be sent to inquiries@lightgoldenrodyellow-antelope-227932.hostingersite.com.
2Information We Collect
We collect only the information needed to assess your eligibility, advise you and, where engaged, prepare and manage your application. This may include:
- Identity and contact details – full legal name, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, country of residence and nationality.
- Profile information – occupation, education, work history, language test results, family composition and target destination.
- Case documents – passports, certificates, employment letters and other supporting records you share once you become a client.
- Technical data – IP address, browser type, device information and pages visited, collected through standard web server logs and analytics tools.
- Communications – messages you send through our forms, email, phone or WhatsApp.
3How We Use Your Information
- To respond to enquiries and provide the Diagnostic Profile Audit and other assessments you request.
- To advise on, prepare and submit applications to immigration authorities and partner organisations on your instruction.
- To communicate case updates, deadlines and regulatory changes relevant to your matter.
- To meet our legal, regulatory, accounting and professional-conduct obligations.
- To maintain the security of our website and improve our services.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for automated decision-making that produces legal effects about you.
4Legal Bases for Processing
Depending on the circumstances, we process personal information on the basis of your consent (for example when you submit an audit form), the performance of a contract or steps taken at your request before entering into one, our legal obligations, and our legitimate interests in operating and securing our business. We handle data in line with the UAE Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data and, where it applies to you, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation.
5Sharing and Disclosure
We share information only where necessary and only with:
- Immigration authorities, visa application centres, designated assessment bodies and government portals, strictly to carry out the application you have instructed.
- Licensed partner advisers, legal representatives, translators and credential-assessment or language-testing organisations engaged for your matter.
- Service providers who support our operations (such as website hosting, communications and document-storage tools) under confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
- Regulators, courts or law-enforcement bodies where we are legally required to do so.
6International Transfers
Because immigration work is cross-border by nature, your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than the one in which you live, including the destination country of your application. Where we transfer data, we take reasonable steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection, such as contractual safeguards or limiting transfers to what your application requires.
7Data Retention
We keep personal information only for as long as needed for the purposes described above, including to satisfy legal, accounting and professional record-keeping requirements. Unsuccessful enquiries are generally deleted after a reasonable period; client case files are retained for the period required by applicable regulations and then securely deleted or anonymised.
8Security
We use administrative, technical and organisational measures to protect personal information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration, including access controls, encrypted connections and confidentiality undertakings for staff. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, so we encourage you to avoid sending sensitive documents by unsecured channels and to ask us for our preferred secure method.
9Your Rights
Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access the personal information we hold about you; to request correction or deletion; to restrict or object to certain processing; to withdraw consent at any time; to request a portable copy of your data; and to lodge a complaint with a data-protection authority. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request, and some information must be retained where the law requires it.
10Cookies and Analytics
This website may use essential cookies and similar technologies to function properly, and analytics tools to understand how visitors use the site. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling some cookies may affect site functionality.
11Third-Party Links and Messaging
Our site links to third-party services such as WhatsApp and government portals. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those services, and we recommend reviewing their policies before sharing information with them.
12Children
Our services are directed at adults. Where an application involves a minor dependant, we collect the child’s information only from a parent or legal guardian and only as required for the application.
13Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised, and material changes will be reflected on this page.
